Dental Interns

As a way of supporting the dental community, our office is open to encouraging the education of national and international dental students, by hosting dental interns from time to time.

The undergraduate dental students Guilherme Borges and Luis Farias were interns at Dr. Markman's office for ten weeks. They are sponsored by The Brazil Scientific Mobility Program (BSMP), administred by Institute of International Education. BSMP provides scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students from Brazil for study at colleges and universities in the United States. After completion of an academic year at Westen Kentucky Univesity, and ten weeks of intenship, students returned to Brazil to complete their degrees. This initiative is the result of joint efforts from two sponsoring organizations, CAPES and CNPq. Students were selected by their grades, engagement with scientific research and English proficiency.
